Our Vision

In order to understand our vision I think it is necessary to agree that music is a medium that is being used in today's world as a means of influence and destruction. Also that this represents a power struggle in the unseen world where the forces of evil are ever attempting to separate people from their Divine Creator by using the very gift that He has given them.

In a society where the moral fiber has all but disintegrated, Ajalon strives to maintain a strong moral fiber in it's message as well as to reintroduce the legacy of Progressive or Art Rock music in which the themes are strong and presented in movements much as a classical composer would do it. Music that takes the listener on a journey, inspires visions and promotes a resurrected spiritual life-style based on biblical principles.

In each song, a tale of God's love overcoming all is regaled with lyrics that reflect truth as it is walked out by imperfect sinners saved only by the amazing grace of God set forth in His Son Jesus Christ who came to earth and lived a sinless life, suffered, was crucified and died.

But in the power of His resurrection and victory over death and the grave, we get the esteemed privilege to write about that truth. We can also present it in a fashion that is unique to the musical influences and the moral character of the members of Ajalon who wrote and recorded the music contained in our CD's, save that which is taken directly from scripture.

Ajalon is committed to the sanctity of the truth of the Gospel and will always maintain that moral fiber in everything they record and play. It is our legacy to give the world something that has a positive uplifting message which supports the wholeness of the broken human condition, undergirded with healing, love, and family values.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error, and is profitable for doctrine, correction, reproof and instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)

WE BELIEVE that Jesus is Lord, demonstrated by His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death on the cross, and His resurrection from the dead. (John 14:6; Eph. 1:17; II Cor. 13:14; I John 4:2; Gal. 4:4-6)

WE BELIEVE in salvation by grace through the shed blood and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift of eternal life given to those who repent, confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead. (Eph. 2:8,9; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 4:12; Romans 3:23; 10:9.10)

WE BELIEVE in the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt. 26:64; Acts 1:11; I Thess. 4:13-18; 5:1-3)
